SAUTE PROCESS
Take about 1/2 stick of Butter, Shrimp and Garlic and saute on low flame allowing Butter to slowly melt.
Get ready to flambe. Remember, keep your distance and have your hair pulled back. It is safer to flambe from a small container than a large bottle liquor.
Pour in the Brandy, and tilt pan towards the flame. (If you are afraid to flambe, just lower the flame and gently pour in the Brandy, and let simmer on low for a few min. If you have an electric stove, use a long match (or a spaghetti noodle that you can light) and touch the flame to the sautee.
Allow the flame to dissipate.
Alcohol is very combustible, thus by utilizing the process of flambeing, you burn OFF alcohol while allowing the sauce to savor the flavor of the Brandy. Now onto the finishing touches....
